For as long as I can remember I wanted to be a carpenter. Basically, I wanted to be my grandfather. I still remember the smell of his dank basement in Enfield, CT where his big green radial arm saw resided. I can still see him walking across the top plate of a framed wall on a construction site and being amazed. I wanted to be him…that feeling never went away. It took a few decades to get here, but in 2016 Mangrove Designs was founded with a simple idea: build things the right way, using quality materials and craftsmanship that lasts.
